A little help
with each tick.

Wrist Wallet support

Start with your collection

Add your first watch, name it and optionally choose a photo. Its ownership, service history, listening sessions and manual accuracy checks stay together in the watch record. The app works without an account.

Get a clearer recording

Rest your mechanical watch on a soft, stable surface near the bottom microphone. Keep a small gap between the watch and phone and keep both still. Record the position and change one placement variable at a time when comparing takes.

Confirm the beat rate only from the exact movement’s specification. A visible waveform shows captured sound; it does not prove the watch’s ticks are usable. In version 1.1.0, choose a listening time of 1 or 2 minutes, independently of keeping sound. Optionally enable Save audio with this session before starting; a 3-second placement countdown can also be enabled or cancelled. Stop sooner whenever you like, then save the session to keep the selected recording. In version 1.0.1, ordinary sessions run for up to 60 seconds and Keep audio recording enables up to 2 minutes.

Why a rate may be withheld

Ticks may be too faint, interrupted or mixed with other sounds. A timing estimate appears only when the recording passes consistency checks. If an earlier section supplies the estimate, the app shows its time range. It does not join gaps or invent missing ticks.

Microphone timing is an estimate and has not been independently calibrated. Beat error and amplitude are unavailable. Use appropriate calibrated equipment or a watchmaker for regulation and servicing decisions.

Permissions and privacy

You can manage camera and microphone permission in iPhone Settings. Your collection remains available without microphone access. Read the privacy information for storage, backup, sharing and deletion details.

Collector tools in version 1.1.0

Add a watch with just its name; More details holds optional reference, movement and ownership fields. Ownership & value keeps acquisition price, currency, your own resale estimate, status and warranty date together. These are values you enter, not automatic market valuations.

In Front & back of card, scan a card on a supported iPhone or choose photos. Read serial from saved card photos offers on-device text suggestions; check the selected text and tap Save. The camera and text recognition do not send your card to a server.

Check everyday accuracy compares manual readings against the same reference clock. After a check, Remind me tomorrow can schedule one local reminder in 24 hours. Its watch name may appear on your Lock Screen; change notification settings or cancel the reminder in the accuracy screen.

Saved recordings have local playback and a scrubber. A Play supporting section control appears only when the result contains that evidence. Search your collection, switch between photo cards and Compact, or use listening-history filters and favourites to find records.

Preserve or remove your records

In version 1.1.0, Settings → Storage & transfer exports a collection file with optional audio. The file contains private watch details and attachments. Import shows a preview; keep existing matching records by default, or deliberately choose Replace matching records. Old collection JSON exports are supported, but only audio included in a transfer file can be restored. Files above 512 MB are not imported.

Open a session to share its report or retained audio. Choose and preview the contents of a watch passport PDF; card images, document files and audio are not included in that PDF. Delete a watch from its details, remove selected recordings or remove all local app data from Settings after exporting anything you need. Deletion cannot remove copies already shared or earlier device backups.
